SLSSG Updates on on the TLM priest celebrants of the Shrine of St. Therese of the Child Jesus and Christ the King Parish (Greenmeadows)

After a period of recuperation from their illness, the Most Rev. Archbishop Pedro R. Dean, Bishop Emeritus of Palo, Leyte, and Rev. Msgr. Cesar Salomon, Vice Rector of the Shrine of St. Therese of the Child Jesus, will resume celebrating the Traditional Latin
Mass on the month of June, 2012. Let us pray for their continuous recovery and good health.

Archbishop Dean will resume being our priest celebrant for the 1st Saturdays of each month at Christ the King Parish-Greenmeadows, while Msgr. Salomon will share in the rotation of priest celebrants for our Sunday Holy Mass at the Chapel of the St. Therese Columbarium at Villamor Air Base.

Rev. Fr. Dominic Maria Lim, OFM Conv., Rector of St. Maximilian Seminary, is on leave for his annual visit to his family in Canada for the whole month of June. Rev. Fr. Felix Maria Duenas, FI, JCL,, Superior of the FI Mission House in Novaliches, will be taking on the schedule of Fr. Dominic in addition to his regular schedule in June.

Attached is our Traditional Latin Mass Schedule for the month of June.

Please continue to pray for our apostolate on the Traditional Latin Mass — its continuity in celebration, promotion and propagation. We continue to receive requests for training on how to celebrate the Traditional Latin Mass among priests in different parts of the country. Let’s pray that we’re able to accommodate their needs — even if slowly, but surely!

Notes:

Changes in the feast to be celebrated on Saturdays or the scheduled priest-celebrant in both venues may change without prior notice. We provide congregants with Missal Booklets in Latin & English, as well as Propers to enable everyone to follow and respond to the priest. Mass Booklets & Propers are to be returned. Sunday is our Special Day with the Lord. We visit Him and worship Him in a Church or Chapel which is His Home on Earth. Let us give Him due respect by wearing our “Sunday best” (e.g., long pants for men and skirts for women, with sleeved shirts or blouse). We encourage the women to wear veils. — SocietasLSSG
